T&W CONSTRUCTION INC.

ADU Contractor

Step 1: Let's Get Started

1. Initial Contact

During our initial conversation, our team will discuss the details of your ADU with you. Through a series of general questions, we aim to gain a thorough understanding of your needs and goals for the renovation. If we determine that your expectations align with our capabilities, we will schedule a visit from one of our experienced project managers to your home for a complimentary in-home consultation.

2. Free In-Home Consultation

On the scheduled day and time, the project manager will visit the site to thoroughly assess the area of your ADU you wish to renovate. This dedicated project manager will serve as your primary point of contact throughout the process, ensuring a deep understanding of your vision, style, and design preferences. Their goal is to work closely with you to bring your vision to life and create a space that reflects your unique style.

3. Scope Of Work

If the in-home appointment proceeds smoothly, your project manager will collaborate with you and our office to outline the project details. This includes providing a clear cost estimate, explaining the process, and establishing a timeline for the completion of your ADU.

Step 2: Build Framework

1. Project Meeting

The meeting between the client and contractor for the ADU is a critical opportunity to discuss expectations, needs, and vision. It provides a chance to establish clear agreements on project goals and address the client’s design and functionality preferences. Every detail, from layout to materials, is carefully reviewed through collaborative discussion. This dialogue ensures that the client’s vision aligns with the contractor’s expertise, resulting in a plan that meets both parties’ expectations.

2. Finalize Gameplan

Providing sketches to the client is a key step in refining details and ensuring the proposed design aligns with their vision. These sketches support a collaborative review, allowing technical and aesthetic elements to be adjusted before finalizing the project agreement.

3. Agreement

At this stage, excitement is at its peak, and everyone is eager to begin your dream project. After reviewing all finalized details, your project manager and our office will work with you to review and sign the contract, marking the exciting start of constructing your ADU.

2. Time To Shop!

The excitement begins as we enter the material selection phase. Together with your project manager, you will explore and finalize the materials and fixtures needed for your ADU, sourced from our trusted vendors. These carefully selected elements will provide the perfect finishing touches for your beautifully designed new ADU.

Step 4: Construction Phases

1. Demolition

The initial phase of construction involves demolishing the designated area and removing all unwanted materials. Prompt cleanup is essential to stay on schedule with your ADU project timeline and to prepare the space for the framing phase.

2. Preparation

Thorough preparation is essential for a smooth installation process. Therefore, a careful inspection of the space after demolition is conducted. We then proceed with the necessary work on drywall, plumbing, and other key elements, setting the stage for the next phase of installation.

3. Installation

The moment has arrived! The installation phase is when your new ADU or garage conversion begins to take shape. Your project manager will ensure that every step is executed with precision, guaranteeing a clean and flawless installation.
